Seed monitor terms of service
A private operational tool for authorised accounts and infrastructure.
These terms describe the permitted use of Cuckoo Camp seed monitor, a private email monitoring tool operated by The Cuckoo Camp. Questions: [email protected].
Who may use the app
Access is restricted to operators authorised by The Cuckoo Camp. The app is not offered for public registration or as a public monitoring service. Only connect mailboxes, domains and infrastructure that you own or have explicit permission to administer and monitor.
Permitted use
Use the app to check email placement, authentication, delivery routes and sender reputation. Keep monitoring low-volume and use genuine messages sent to authorised seed mailboxes. Do not use it for unsolicited bulk email, artificial reputation manipulation, unauthorised mailbox access or activities that breach a provider’s terms.
Keep credentials and dashboard access secure. Do not connect accounts containing personal or confidential correspondence unrelated to monitoring. Tell us promptly if an account or credential may have been compromised.
On-demand content tests
Where enabled, this feature is for authorised operators testing example content against approved seed mailboxes and configured routes. Use synthetic or non-confidential content, and do not upload customer personal information, credentials or private correspondence. Keep test names and other metadata free of confidential information too.
Review the preview, sender, routes and recipient count before explicitly sending. The app adds monitoring references and unsubscribe information, and uses its configured signing and delivery rules. It does not execute template variables or reproduce every header, attachment, tracking feature or rendering choice of the original sending application.
Respect the configured recipient and daily test limits. A timeout may leave SMTP acceptance uncertain; do not create repeated replacement tests simply to bypass that uncertainty or a sending limit. Cancellation stops unsent work but cannot recall accepted mail. Completion notices and saved reports may be delayed or incomplete if a mailbox, collector or notification service is unavailable.
Mailbox changes and permissions
Authorising a mailbox permits the configured monitoring workflow to find test messages, read their diagnostic information, mark them as read, file them, rescue spam-classified messages when enabled, and move older messages in monitoring folders to trash or deleted items. Gmail’s permission technically allows broader mailbox access, including sending; the current workflow is described on the app overview and in the Privacy policy.
Only approve those permissions if you are authorised to do so. You can stop using the app, ask an administrator to disconnect the account, or revoke its permissions through the account provider. Unsubscribing from a test message pauses monitoring sends to that seed; it does not disconnect the account or delete existing records.
Monitoring limitations
Results describe observations from particular seed mailboxes and available provider reports. They do not guarantee delivery to other recipients or represent every recipient’s experience. Provider filtering, personalisation, delays, outages and reporting thresholds can affect results. Missing reputation data does not establish that a sender has good or bad reputation.
This is an operational diagnostic tool. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, complete results or a particular inbox-placement outcome. Operators should investigate significant findings alongside other evidence before changing production mail systems.
Changes and access
We may update, suspend or retire the app, change its configuration, or withdraw access to protect accounts and infrastructure. Material changes to the purpose of account access or handling of Google data will be reflected in the app information and Privacy policy, with renewed consent where required.
These terms do not exclude rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
